Goreswar College, established in the year 1974 is one of the premier institutions located on the northern banks of the Brahmaputra River. The college is affiliated to Bodoland University, Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Assam. The college offers undergraduate courses in the field of Arts, Science and Commerce. In order to accomplish our mission and vision, we are willing to undertake our best efforts.

We strongly believe that education is a collaborative effort that involves professional administrators, committed teachers and motivated students. We dedicate ourselves as professional administrators in creating a dynamic education programme empowering the students in a global perspective. In order to meet the growing challenges of a fast changing world and New Education Policy (NEP), the Goreswar College has adopted numerous measures to acquaint the students to deal with different kinds of situations. Our objective is to turn the challenges of the changing world into wisdom of opportunity for the future. We strive to provide the students with a platform in order to broaden their horizon and in the process give them pleasant, healthy, refined and holistic education.

We have adopted a variety of teaching pedagogies and have also trained up teachers to cope up with online teaching and learning processes. The institution has also signed Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs) with various agencies, organizations and institutions in order to provide exchange of knowledge and expertise in various fields of studies. With the support of the local community, staff, students and our well-wishers, we strive to continue forward in our endeavor.
